Workshop on Sustainable Materials

On November 21st from 9h to 13.30h, AMI2030 & EMIRI are organising a workshop on sustainable materials in San Sebastian (Spain).

During this workshop, specific case studies focusing on the circularity aspect of materials research and innovation will be presented. In the framework of the Spanish presidency of the European Council, Spanish regional actors from the Basque Country such as Tekniker, Tecnalia, Azterlan, CIDETEC, CIC energiGUNE and Naturklima will be invited to showcase their activities and projects in this field. This will all be linked with the work that has been conducted by the AMI2030 initiative, anticipating the IM4EU partnership. The safe and sustainable by design approach will be also covered together with a presentation of the IRISS network.

Starting with 11:25, you will have the opportunity to learn more information about RHINOCEROS, when the project coordinator, Álvaro Manjón Fernández (TECNALIA), will deliver a presentation on “Recycling and recovery of critical materials”.
